A collaborative piece by Kim Cascone and myself, based on the live performance below. Not really a remix – but it utilizes some of the source material for the original. I came up with a framework piece, which was sent to Kim for further mangling. Here’s the result.
Striatium Redux – 11:41
This was a laptop performance by myself and sound artist Kim Cascone at the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, NY on 8/3/2007. The mine is actually a large damp cave, which is the remains of the old cement mining operation that was prevalent in this part of the state many years ago.
