CMBR stands for ‘cosmic microwave background radiation.’ It is considered by most cosmologists to be the residual radiation of the big bang, and measurements show it to be fairly evenly distributed throughout the entire universe.

These pieces all have the same source material – a 10 second audio clip of the sound of this background radiation, which is similar to the interference noise heard between radio stations (analog model, of course).
